FLA-Approved Training

Huddersfield Firing Range, is certified by the Firearm Licensing Authority (FLA) of Jamaica. We offer extensive training programs designed to prepare applicants for the FLA Competence Assessment. Successfully passing this assessment is a critical step for conditionally approved applicants to gain their Firearm Competence Certification.

Comprehensive Training Programs

Our training programs cover all critical aspects of firearm use and safety. For new applicants, we provide thorough preparation to ensure you meet all FLA requirements. Our courses include:

For Existing Firearm Holders

HFR is also the ideal place for existing firearm holders to practice and enhance their skills. Safe Use and Handling Assessment

In Jamaica, it is required that firearm holders undergo a Safe Use and Handling Assessment every five years. At Huddersfield Firing Range, we ensure that you are well-prepared for this assessment, providing the necessary training and practice to meet the standards set by the FLA.

Established in 2005 by an Act of Parliament, the Firearm Licensing Authority (FLA) of Jamaica is a statutory organization within the Ministry of National Security.
